OUR HISTORY

Established nearly 40 years ago through a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Rayon, PT Vonex Indonesia was set up to take advantage of the low production cost in Indonesia, to offer their Japanese customers the same high quality yarns as those produced in Japan, but at a much better value.

Over the years, our company gained in reputation as a trusted, highly reliable business partner who consistently deliver high quality standard. Our company grew steadily and expanded its production capacity in line with increased market demand.

In 2009, our company was acquired by Mr Choi Wijaya. Today, PT Vonex Indonesia employs about 800 people with monthly production of about 700 tons. We continue to find innovative ways to produce high quality yarns at the most cost-efficient method possible.
